I did and it scared the pants off me. A simple product of the apathy and ignorance of the masses. Give them McDOnalds, pickups and talk radio they pay attention to little else whilst Rome burns around them.
Owen – thanks for brining this to our attention. I don’t think we are there yet. But as Wolf seems to argue, if we were headed in that direction, would thinks look much different?
I notice that you were deliberately vague about whether you wanted us to read it because it exposes the illiberality of this American administration or the poverty of journalism within the Guardian.
